Meetings & Participation

The Clearinghouse Activity has membership from the FGDC Clearinghouse Working Group (primarily federal members) and from state, local, commercial, and international members interested in sharing digital geospatial data on the Internet. An electronic mail list is available to stay current with Clearinghouse events. The Clearinghouse Working Group holds a teleconference and videoconference on an as-needed basis, with meetings at least quarterly. These meetings allow participants to dial-in and converse with other attendees. Meetings are guided through use of HTML documents for the agenda and for presentations, forming the basis for meeting minutes for later review on the Internet. Conference times will be announced in advance to the Clearinghouse e-mail list.
