The goals of this project are to:

Create an integrated, maintained, and accessible GIS database for Pend Oreille County utilizing the technical expertise and experience of Spokane County;

Support a consortium of local interests to establish a Geospatial Information System for Pend Oreille County, Washington as a community approach to managing and applying geospatial data;

Integrate Pend Oreille County datasets with the regional database maintained by Spokane County, Washington;
-
Make Pend Oreille County data available to the public in an OGC-compliant format through The National Map server maintained by Spokane County; and
-
Provide information to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the USGS, the U.S. Forest Service and other Federal, State, and local agencies.
