URISA is pleased to announce the inaugural GIS in Public Health Conference taking place in New Orleans. The conference, developed through a call for presentations, will feature educational sessions and workshops on Hazard Preparedness, Emergency Response and Disease Surveillance; Environmental Health; Infectious & Food-Borne Disease Outbreaks; Urban Health; Social Factors in Health; Maternal and Child Health; Public Policy and Health Advocacy; and Models, Methods and Spatial Data Infrastructure. Chuck Croner is the featured keynote speaker.
