Introduction to Geospatial Metadata Training

This course presents the concept, principles, and value of metadata. The content and structure of the FGDC CSDGM are provided in detail along with methods for writing quality metadata. Students receive hands-on metadata record creation and validation training with a variety of available software tools including NCDDC’s MERMAid system.
