NILS GeoCommunicator
GeoCommunicator is an Internet website that provides an interactive mapping
environment to search, access, map, and identify land and mineral use
records, and the downloading of Public Land Survey System (PLSS) data from
NILS including records from the BLM's LR2000 system.
Learn how to:
*Download PLSS data (Township/Range/Section grid).
*Map BLM land and mineral use authorizations (leases, agreements, permits,
licenses,etc.) for oil and gas, geothermal, coal, mineral material
disposal, rights-of-way, stipulations, conveyances, mining claims, and
more.
*Map use authorizations using a variety of  reference and base maps such as
topographic, aerial photography, federal lands, legal description
(T/R/S/Aliquot),  roads, and more.
*Search for use authorizations by serial number and case identifier or
additionallly by dates for oil and gas and mining claims.
*Link the use authorizations directly to LR2000 reports to get Serial
Register Reports and run Geographic Reports.
*Map grazing allotments and pastures - link allotments to grazing reports
from BLM's Range Authorization System.
*View federal surface management agency boundaries and U.S. Forest Service
sale parcels.
*Use GeoCommunicator map services within your own GIS.
*Print the maps that you have created.

LR2000
LR2000 is an Internet website that provides a searchable database for
public reports concerning BLM's land and mineral programs within the
Continental U.S. These reports include activities concerning unpatented
mining claims, permits, leases, licenses, conveyances, and other
authorizations for such things as mineral leasing, exploration and
development, rights-of-way, land conveyances, non-mineral leasing, parks,
grazing, etc.

Learn how to:
*Run reports from LR2000 such as serial register pages, geographic reports,
acreage reports and more.
*Run reports with a variety of search options such as date, land
description, serial number, etc.
*Run Customer reports
*And much more!
