Abstract:
Training covers an introduction to what FGDC Metadata is and why it
is important, how the FGDC standard is structured, which parts are mandatory,
the Biological Data Profile, how to use various metadata software tools,
and a variety of other metadata resources. The training can be customized
to meet the needs of class participants, based on their level of experience
with metadata.
