Duration:
I have given several types of workshops. From a one-day workshop to a two-week in-depth Clearinghouse workshop

Abstract:
A 2 week train-the-trainer workshop to cover metadata basics, metadata creation tools (Metalite, Corpsmet), isite, WEB Page design, review of Clearinghouse projects, status of Clearinghouse technology

Costs:
I am now based in Venezuela. So travel costs depend on destination mainly. My hourly rates depend on length of training and need to prepare material prior to the workshop

Tools:
I use the material prepared by the US Geological Survey - EROS Data Center

Disciplines:
I am a computer engineer, with a M.Sc in Environmental Resources. I have been coordinating international projects for four years now, and have expertise in Clearinghouse Technologies, GIS, Remote Sensing, Environmental Monitoring Programs, Multimedia Development.

Experience:
I have trained several Clearinghouse workshop, some as part of a project executed by the United Nations Environment Programme to establish a Clearinghouse system in the Caribbean, many others in Central America as part of my present project to establish Clearinghouse for disaster preparedness in the region. I have been involved in training more than 10 metadata workshops so far.
