The goal of this project is to lay the foundation for the development of stewardships that will provide the long term maintenance of structures and transportation geospatial information in West Virginia that will serve federal, state, regional, and local community needs. Participation is accepted or forthcoming from those stewardship organizations of structure and transportation geographic databases which are considering long term maintenance, updating and serving geospatial data of interest to The National Map and the National Spatial Data Infrastructure. This project will help the participants overcome impediments to participation and result in integrated geographic databases at the state and federal levels which support the business needs of governments, private companies, and the public.
