Enhancing Local Government's Ability to Create and Maintain Compliant Metadata Through a MAGIC Regional
Approach

Project goal is to support FGDC endorsed standards training materials development, training, and outreach in the multi-state region within the Mid America Geographic Information Consortium (MAGIC).  The materials will be developed in cooperation with or reviewed by the standard’s maintenance authorities: USGS and FGDC.  The developed materials are to be available through the Internet hosted by the developer or the FGDC or linked to the developer from the FGDC website.

The MAGIC participating states are Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and South Dakota.
