The primary objective of this proposal is to enable on-line viewing
and download of 2005 Chicago Urban Area digital orthophotography. Data
will be served in the public domain at the Illinois Natural Resources
Geospatial Data Clearinghouse (Illinois Clearinghouse), which is
managed by the Illinois State Geological Survey (ISGS), a division of
the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR). A secondary
objective is to establish a formal relationship between the U.S.
Geological Survey (USGS) and the ISGS in collaboration with The
National Map.
