The County of Westchester, NY has two goals for this project:

1.  Demonstrate how counties can be leveraged to significantly advance the goals of the Geospatial One Stop (GOS) gateway which is one of the 24 e-goverment initiatives sponsored by the Federal Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to enhance government efficiency and to improve citizen services.

2.  Extend the project to include FGDC compliant metadata training and development for the local government participants.
