The 2010 National Spatial Data Infrastructure Cooperative Agreements Program awarded 26 proposals with funding for projects in seven categories.  The projects will support

• development of the NSDI by advancing standards,
• promotion of automated synchronization of framework data,
• development strategic and/or business plans in ten states,
• sponsor return on investment analysis for geospatial initiatives,
• promotion of the Geospatial Data Model, and
• fostering partnerships across local, state, tribe, and federal governments.
