Introduction to Metadata - Writing Quality Metadata
The FGDC Coordination Group will hold its monthly meeting via Webinar. Please check the agenda distributed prior to each meeting for specific meeting times and whether the meeting is public or Fed Only.
The FGDC Steering Committee will hold its next meeting from 1 pm to 3 pm on Thursday, June 13. The meeting will be held at the South Interior Building Auditorium in downtown Washington, DC. Attendance is by registration only. ***PLEASE NOTE THAT THE VENUE HAS CHANGED. THE MEETING WAS INITIALLY SCHEDULED FOR MAIN INTERIOR, BUT HAS NOW MOVED TO SOUTH INTERIOR.***

The National Geospatial Advisory Committee (NGAC) will meet on April 3, 2013 VIA WEBINAR AND TELECON ONLY. The meeting initially scheduled to be held at the NCTC facility in Shepherdstown has been changed to a webinar. Attendance is by registration only. FGDC will be hosting a booth exhibit at the NOAA Coastal GeoTools Conference in March in Myrtle Beach, SC. Coastal GeoTools is the conference series that focuses on the technical information needs of the nation’s coastal programs. The 2013 conference will focus on building the Digital Coast, a Web platform that provides access to geos​patial data, tools​, and technical training.​
