This course presents the concept, principles, and value of geospatial metadata.
Second workshop between the Chinese National Marine Data and Information Service and the NOAA North Pacific Ecosystem Metadatabase to establish a NSDI Clearinghouse Node for China NMDIS as part of the North Pacific Marine Scieince Organization (PICES) Marine Metadata Federation.
The USGS will be hosting a metadata workshop on the morning of October 26 at UNLV. Participants from BLM, NPS, USF&W, and USFS, will be attending this introductory course to metadata. The training will focus on the structure of standards, tools, and hands-on examples.
